Naomi Erkenbrack

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

I believe that God is the ultimate resource for all of our needs, and it is my privilege to be a vessel of His grace and truth. It is my honor to show His love and to encourage others in the journey of discovering what He does for them and who they are in Him. I am guided by His words in I John 3:18-24 (The Message).

One of my areas of specialty is treating children with trauma and attachment problems. I believe the concept of attachment is biblically rooted and designed by our Creator Himself. I have seen how secure family relationships provide a beautiful illustration of a glimpse of God’s love toward us and how we can be secure in Him and who He made us to be. I believe that parents are their children’s agent of change. My role is not to be “the expert”, but rather to provide support and coaching in helping parents to utilize their relationship to help their children heal. A significant portion of therapy is focused on helping parents to understand their children from a trauma and attachment perspective. I believe that barriers to attachment disintegrate when children can see themselves through the eyes of a parent who understands them and loves them. Security grows and inner wealth replaces a negative inner working model. My greatest joy is witnessing the beauty of watching parents and children bond and hearts heal.
